Timers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I've started timing my kids while they play Xbox 360, because otherwise, they play forever and I lose track of time and Ethan only gets to play 10 minutes, because Mason hogs the paddle. So today, my nephew Kolton is over playing and I have been giving them each 10 minutes at a time with the paddle (it's a one player game-TMNT). Well, Mason's turn came up and I went in to check on them and found that he had re-set the timer to 20 minutes. They are getting way too smart! Just so everyone knows, Dan really wants our blog to be a record of all the funny things our kids do and say everyday, so I hope we don't bore everyone to death!

That's exactly what happens to my poor Bennion. He's too patient with his brother and sadly Gene boy takes advantage of that sometimes. Anyhoo, I got a good laugh when I read that Mason changed the time. He's no dummy :)!!
I'm always amazed by how fast they figure things out. When we put child safety locks on all the cabinets, it took Emma just a few days to figure out how to unlatch them.
Your boys are so darling!? There are so many Oldhams it is hard to keep up, mercy. I really do need to get to know more people in the family, so thanks for your comment:)
I am from Portland, but thats great to hear that I have a fellow Oregonian in the mix! I love Oregon, but just enough to want to visit there every few months and see family:) Is most of your family out there?
Aren't they sneaky! Kids are so tricky! You have to laugh about it but at the same time you think, "Where did you learn that!"
Kids are so smart. Remember that your blog is for you not anyone else. Although we enjoy peeking into your life. We as mom's get a kick out of the small things our kids do daily and it will be fun to look back. I say go for it and document all the details.
